Hi All,
I'm wondering if you can help?? I'm keen to do a trade course with OCLI. The thing is I am on carers allowance at the moment and the course is very expensive (in my eyes at least).
Is there any financial help available out there?
Regards
Dave

Better bet would be to contact your local FE College who may be able to help with funding.0

Personally I'd steer clear of any who doesn't give 'who they are' on their website. No names, no questions.
I'd expect to see a list of directors, trainers and management on a training website. But that's just me. After 10 years of working in construction training my advice would be to call your local CITB office and get a list of local training providers for the course you are looking at from them.If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. Hello Sambucus Nigra,
I really need your advice. My husband is on his career change point, doing his Ba in Eng (Energy and Sustainability) degree at OU. He previously has almost 20 years of mechanic work experience. He is on his second year only, and overall it takes 6 years. He has been looking for Eng related works and internships for almost a year now but the problem is that they all either require a decent work experience or at least a completed degree. My husband is already 38 already now, so by the time he graduates time is just long. He heard of OLCI offering green engineer course, which seems like to lead towards Engineering career once completed. But we weren't sure whether its only the OLCI fee that holds us back from stepping into it. Now I see your point about their website is completely right! Can you pls recommend anything in terms decent studies in green engineering. Tahnks a lot!!!0 -
