*Minimum 2gb RAM
*Intel Core2Duo E6600 or E6700 Processor
*Minimum 320 Gig Hard Drive (but that must be a good price as i'll need to buy a second hard drive as would like a bit more than that if possible).
*Decent Graphics Card (nVidia 8600 or 8800 maybe)
*Onboard sound is fine
*Monitor Not Necessarily Needed, Would Consider If Still At Good Price As Could Sell It/Old One.
*Case Doesn't NEED To Be An Expensive One, So Long As It Isn't Too Ugly And Is Still Well Made.
*Decent Warranty Would Be Nice.
I am looking to spend about £650 really as my dell pc that is being refunded (as it's rubbish and full of problems) was £700 and i know that dell are generally more expensive so would be nice to get a pc and save a bit of money on it.
Has anybody seen any good buys, or knows of any good places to buy from that they could direct me to?
Thanks.

Well i've seen a couple on ebay and computerplanet but i'm really wanting to explore all options before purchasing as i rushed into buy my dell one and it's a decision i now regret (hence them refunding me lol).
I would build my own (even though it's not much difference in price), but we're currently decorating our whole house and i just don't have the time or inclination to build a pc aswell as the rest lol, besides which at least if i get it built for me, i'll probably have a decent warrant on it which means less faffing about again if anything goes wrong. I mean i can fix things generally but if anything was to need replacing, i would have to just pay out again myself if i built one.Lost lbs =

I have always found dell to be genreally the cheapest.
But for that spec and that price it may be difficult to do without trying to find the cheapest stuff off ebuyer. Get a cheaper processor and over clock it. Are you planning on useing the computer for games? if not its a bit over the top.JeremyMarried 9th May 20090 -
you could try piecing one together on aria I have no idea if it will work out cheaper or not, just a site I know some computer friends use.
good luck!"The future needs a big kiss"0 -
Have just done a quick custom build for you on
http://www.computerplanet.co.uk
And by the spec you quoted with 2gb Ram processor as requested 500gb Hard Drive etc it should cost you £468 + 34 delivery.
Have purchased two computers from them before and have never had any problems.0 -
