Self Assessment - Complicated situation

in Cutting tax
15 months ago I foolishly helped my brother in law set up a business. I did all his paperwork, took phone calls etc. I was named as a director on the company. He took a wage but I never took a penny from the company. The long and the short of it is he was unreliable and I felt untrustworthy so after 8 months or so I took myself off of the company. I have now received a self assessment letter from the accountant we were using telling me not to be late filing my tax return.
I received a wage slip each month with an amount on but I was paid any money from the business.
Do I put the amount I "supposedly" earned on the tax form or do I leave it blank??
Thank you

Presumably a "not" missed out from the first sentence.
As a director you were an employee of the company and tax should have been deducted under PAYE. Ask the accountant for your P60 showing earnings and tax deducted."If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools"

Yes "not" sorry!
Thank you, will give him a call now0
