Wanted to know if individuals need to declare cashback for a tax return in the UK or USA
I have received several hundreds of pounds
Thanks.

Don't know abou the US (but I'd be very surprised if it's any different) but no need to declare anything in the UK - it's just a discount on items bought, and not income.
Slightly different scenario if you're in business and claiming expenses - the cashback has to come off the amount claimed because you can only claim the net amount paid.0
