Bread Maker recipe for Gluten Free

I know i've found recipes on here before for bread makers but having a bad day already and would really appreciate it if someone could post me a Gluten Free Bread recipe (easy)?? I've got a Panasonic SD-254 never used it but hoping I can save money with my OH's Gluten and Wheat Free diet.

Can you not just use any bread recipe and substitute gluten free bread flour for ordinary bread flour?

GF bread needs extra bits in it, such as xantham gum or whatever the recipe calls for, due to gluten making the dough "stretchy". I tried a GF loaf in my bread maker a while back and it was a disaster! I've not had the confidence of trying again, but am working up to it (I know that sounds weird, but I have issues about failure).

I'll do another search and see what I can find. What do you have in the cupboard for making bread? GF flour/rice flour/yeast/GF baking powder etc?
  • Trolleyrun, I haven't bought any ingredients at the moment as I'm a newbee at breadmaking but hoping that I can make GF bread cheaper than buying it???? Am I out of my depth here!!!

Join the club of being out of depth :)

Here's a link for a loaf of brown GF bread for bread maker. I haven't tried this one but might try it soon. It doesn't have too many unpronounceable ingredients either:

Good luck, hope it works :)
