Enough years for a pension?

How can I find out if I havev paid enough NI contributins for thew new state pension? And if ~I havent can I make it up with voluntary contributions?

    There are lower cost ways to make things up that class 3 contributions, but find out where you stand and then ask again regards what's best to do.

    I'm pretty sure I dont have enough contributions.
    What are the lower cost ways for making up class 3 contributions? and what are class 3 contributions please?

    Other ways to top-up are to become self employed and pay class 2 contributions voluntarily. Or get a job where you earn enough to get a qualifying year but not enough to pay tax or NI.

    However, for the moment just find out where you are as it's all about to change!

    A quick look...1 years contribution costs £655...
    1/35 of £150 ??...£4.30p which is £223 a year...
    3 years to get your money back...
