Opinions on Mortgage Natwest

Options
Hi There,

Hoping yous can give me your thoughts etc.

I am currently applying for a mortgage. Previously i applied with my gf but with odd late payment on her credit report we were rejected. I have waited 4/5 months and have decided to apply myself with Natwest.

I am currently on £11200 and wanting a mortgage for £40000. Basically my brother and i owe our current flat outright (no mortgage) worth 100000. He wants to move out so i am buying is share just for a bit less than half to give a change in getting the mortgage

I have a loan for £163 a month for car and apart from that have no other debt. My credit report is excellent with experian with 0 late payments.

I am jus wondering if i will have a shot at getting this mortgage even though i am on a small salary.

Any responses would be much appreciated.

I think your situation also depends on your outgoings as well. Even though you are on a lower salary you might be able to apply for the mortgage if you have a decent amount of disposable income. Some mortgage providers will simply do a basic calculation and tell you if you qualify or not depending on your salary, debts, etc....
The duration of the mortgage and your age can also influence the decision.

I'd recommend to call NatWest and speak to an advisor and discuss your situation and see if you qualify.
