Hi all, new here apologies if posted this wrong - anyway I have my telephone interview with the Accountant in Bancruptcy on Wednesday and wondered if anyone could tell me what they are going to ask - I assume they have some sort of standard questions, obviously there will be those specific to my case.
Any advice grateful

Hi cb3781, I'm sorry not sure about AIB interview and hopefully a Scottish poster can post soon.
This is what happens in England/Wales so hopefully it may help a bit. It's nothing to worry about, its just for the OR to get a feel why you went BR. Before the call just look through your 6.28/SOA so your familiar with what you have said. The OR will just go through your 6.28/SOA with you. Also before the call have a big mug of tea ready or a bottle of water, and while they are writing things down you can have sips of tea/water, so you don't feel you have to fill in the pauses. And if you don’t know the answer to a question just say so. Do have a list with all questions ‘you’ want to ask.
Can last anything from half an hour to an hour and a half.
Best wishes

CB you have absolutely nothing to worry about, it's long yes, and at times I found it quite painful but they are human and only doing their job.
I had concerns over the cost of travelling to and from work but he was fine about it. He even said "you spend enough of your life at work without the travelling being made longer" when I mentioned public transport.
The only thing he queried was when my parents had increased my rent (mum had her hours cut and dad's retired) he was a bit off, but i explained it was still far cheaper than me running a 1 bed flat, which was the alternative.
Be open and honest with them, they're not there to trip you up in anyway.
Good luck! xFeb 2024:
