pointless post really but was sitting here thinking ,does anyone actually see an official receiver?
im aware that people always say or interview but is it actually examiner? my examiner was a lady but the official receiver was a man,not that i saw him but he did write.

Rarely....especially recent workload increases and staff reductions....brother did see one of Liverpool's OR's a few years ago but mainly worked with examoner afterwards

The OR in person is the man/woman in overall charge of the office. The Head Honcho. Everything is done in their name and with their authority but if you saw them personally you'd be major league BR...eye-watering 7 figures or celebrity. Or major fraud which might likely be one of those anyway!
The rest of us have to make do with one of his/her examining officers which is actually OK because from personal experience (and it would appear most people on this forum) they are genuinely nice helpful people to deal with!
