My wife recieved a leeter dated 16 April, to our old address. (we moved oct last year). They have been asked by Hitachi Capital to recover £83.12 on a loan for a sofa.
This payment was covered by the CCCS DPM, however the CCCS worked on an estimated amount, so stopped paying it December.
Now my question is, this is the first time we have heard from either Hitachi or CSN, even though we didnt change our telephone number. We did forget to change the address with them, but we thought we only had one payment left. So should they have tried to contact us?
However CSN have added a £50 collection fee so the total amount is £133.12. Can they do this
Any suggestions........
