Cleaning mildew from a suede coat

Hello everyone!
:j Hope the NY finds you well! :j
My husband was given his father's suede coat a few years ago (dating from the 1970s) and enjoys having it around for nostalgic reminders of his dad and his own 1990s 70s revival!
Sadly because of the damper flats we lived in, this coat has some mildew on the exterior. How can we treat this effectively to stop the mildew?

Hi
Try using a suede brush and brush it off. A suede brush is small with metal bristles. My suede boots had got a bit of grey mildew on them and I used the brush with great results. Good Luck!
