car blew up

hi,

I am in my 5th yr of br and since my br I have been financially squeaky clean, Ihave a coop bank account and a vanquis c/c which I have held both for 5 years and both accounts unblemished. Recently my car decided to stop working and I now need to buy another. Is it possible to get any kind of credit to help me purchase another vehicle? or am I stumped.? Iam employed and earn a good wage but don't have much savings.
:D MOVE ALONG........ nothing to see here..!

I think you need to reaally reflect long and hard on this statment here.

In conjuction with you having already going bankrupt. I don't think you will get credit but please look at what you are saying.

If you want me to explain, you have a good job which pays well, previously couldn't manage your finances and when something goes wrong with your car you have no savings or contingency, normally without bankruptcy you would've borrowed to get a newer (2ndhand) car. You don't even have a few hundred quid knocking around for an old banger?

How about going to your local car auction and picking up something for a couple of hundred quid. I twould probably keepyou going for a few weeks until you could save up for something better.
  • How far do you work away from home?. How about a moped or bike, the moped shouldn't cost much to run, just a thought.
