I do them each day but don't do the extra facebook/twitter entries. I find I can get through them very quickly that way and have won 4 times in last 4 months.

I did the Dailies religiously for September, October and November last year and won three times (a DVD, and book and DVD and some toys). I do all nine of the IPC sites and use all my shares. If I run out of prize draws, I do the instant wins. I did do an experiment of using all my entries on the instants but didn't win anything (though I know some on here have).

I do 11 of them so not sure if a couple aren't IPC, but there are 11 that I know of all very similar, ie question followed by offers followed by a tick to say you are right (or a cross if you are wrong)

There are too many comps I want to win on the mags to just do my given 6 (eg ATM I am entering 20 comps on Look alone) so need to share. Would be a lot quicker if I could just decide which 6 I would rather go for. Of course I realise that some there are 20 (25 for WOTV) entries a day, but there are a few mags with 6 entries allowed, but a load more prizes I want
Current Aims: Laptop/PC, decent money, holiday
Best Wins: Ipad, Nintendo 3DS, £400 Shopping Spree at LK Bennett, £100 Boots vouchers
Total Wins (Since April 2012) £3442.56
Big thanks to all who post comps :T:beer:
  • Ive been entering selective ones daily since June, but no luck at all, I decided in December with all the advents, to be really selective and only pick ones that have more than one prize or are short running. Fingers crossed -x-
Coincidentally I did have a flick through the winners lists, I think it was the whats on TV one and did notice the same name about 5 times winning different things ... did make me wonder??

I should've said that I do all the nine that I know of... I didn't realise until a month after starting that Woman's Weekly had them, for instance! :-)

    I do:
    What's on TV
    Chat
    Woman's Weekly
    Woman's Own
    Woman
    Marie Claire
    Look
    Now
    Pick Me Up
    Would LOVE to win:
A hamper - any sort! A goody bag - any sort! A UK mini-break. A year's supply of something foodie. Anything Sci-Fi related
2013 wins - Cutting Room book, Rock n Rose necklace, £50 M&S voucher, Greggs coffee, £70 voucher for a Onesie

I do them every day using all the free (non-share) entries if there are enough competitions to use them all, and I win about once a month on average.

One thing I do make a point of doing is trying to use my entries on the same comps every day until they expire rather than spreading them over lots of different ones. It seems to me that stacking up lots of entries in a few comps will give me a better chance of winning something than a scattergun approach, but who knows if there is any truth in this!
  • I always thought the extra entries gave extra entries to the existing comp that you just entered.

The reason I asked in the first place is that someone I follow on Twitter (from a Rafflecopter comp) keeps doing the extra entries for WOTV on pretty much all the prize draw comps every day. Now I know it's not worth it for WOTV but may come in handy for other mags that just offer 6 per day and you require more for the other draws.

There is also Handbag and This is Competitions that are similar. Not sure if they are IPC though, but they have the weekly comps with the 5 offers too.

Sorry should have quoted and replied once.

As far as I am aware you share an entry but it does not give you an extra entry for that comp, but it gives you more daily entry allowances so you can enter more. I dont share if I dont need to. I have accidently shared the odd comp when I didn't mean to just out of habit. Today I have entered 20 comps on Look, 15 comps on Womans Own and 8 comps on Woman's Weekly when each of these only give you 6 entries a day initially.

In that case, I have misunderstood, because I thought it gave you an extra entry for the one you have just entered, not just that it allowed you to enter more of the others. If this is right, perhaps I need to be more selective about what I share. I have only recently started to do these.
