Voluntry reposession and BR

Me and my hubby are considering voluntry reposession of our home due to being in an IVA needing to move to a bigger home - current 2 beds n 2 children..need some space for husband to work from home or he will loose his job .,, so we have £13k negative equity .. I no if we voluntry repo then the shortfall on the mortgage is covered under BR but wondered if its worth trying to sell out home on a quick sell ( we buy any house site ) to prevent hassle from NRAM and try and speed up our process any ideas
