Decorating the reception help/advice?

hi that sounds like a cool idea and quite MSE. You could also look at aqua gel balls on ebay, they are 99p a pack and u just fill them with water, beautiful colour from them. they were our centre pieces, £3 per table inc vase but they make great for any kind of decoration

ok I think i am going to go ahead with the sweetie tree things actually really like the idea now i've got my head around to do it . Also thinking for some of the walls maybe some white fabric stuff (any ideas) and fairy lights. It's still quite a big space though so if anyone has any suggestions for other bits and bobs to do/fill space. I was thinking of maybe setting up a DIY photobooth, does anyone know where you can get/hire partitions as these would be quite good to go round the area then cover with white? The previous wedding had some lovely big balloon things dotted around the room but they look quite expensive, anyone got any ideas? thanks x
