food shopping comparison app

I have been trying to find a good app, so when i am in the supermarket, I can scan the product to check if i can buy it cheaper elsewhere etc.

I have downloaded 2 to my phone, but they are not doing what i want them to do:rotfl:

I did see a news article on tv before christmas, about people using their phones in the shops to compare prices, so was just wondering if peeps know which app it is,

Might as well make the most out my phone:rotfl:

HotUKDeals also has an app as well which can come in handy. I'm guessing it works the same as their website, if it does, you should be able to search for offers on there as well. See here for HotUKDeals app.

I just do a shop on Ocado midweek and then if I'm out shopping with my mother I can delete items in front of me which are in stock or cheaper. Ocado on the Go is a great app. I find some supermarkets can be dead zones for phones and maybe this is deliberate ???

Are there any good UK apps for Android? Mysupermarket is only Iphone atm.
