Hello everyone a bit of advice if you could

I currently work for a sign company based in County Durham and work 8.30 till 5 Monday to Friday

In the past 12 months my boss has decided not to pay us for travel time for example I travel to doncaster at 6 in the morning to start work at 8.30 and finish at 5 so have to travel home for 2 and a half hours but he insists that he does not owe us this time and that it's part of the job

We do this at least twice a week so in my eyes I am not getting paid for 10 hours a week

I have been working for 6 years now without a contract

So thats the answer then, its part of the job even though I am not sure now if there was any question asked.

I used to work from home but have a meeting at head office twice a week, it was around 3 hours each way driving but I wasnt paid for it. It's the same with my job now, I thought it was the norm to not pay for travel time.

Have you always done this or is this a new change ?
If you've accepted it for six years then I think you'd be deemed to have accepted it as part of the job.

Make sure you leave the works van at work and use your own transport to work. Then driving the works van is work.
You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'
