Annual % returns on Solar Panels

hello forum
For my first post, I thought it would be fun to start a thread for people to post returns on their investment. This is NOT a thread for anti-FiT rants or other discussion, please take that elsewhere.
Please post as much information as you can/are willing to. I hope everyone will use the same format to allow easier comparison.
perhaps something like:
cost of system and date
size of panels
size of inverter
orientation/pitch of roof (and any shading etc issues)
location
FiT rate paid (easier than date installed I suppose)
total % of return on investment (Generation + Export Tariff)
% of return on others (ie electricity saving)
State dates covered (ie installation date to anniversary,Jan 1 to Dec 31, Apr 1 to anniversary) Some type of annual dates seems easiest to compare.
Think that covers things, feel free to add anything to the list you feel appropriate. Periodically I will produce a table for comparison. Have fun and enjoy

I suppose that could be added seperately if anyone wants, I didn't want to 'muddy' the waters. Next, someone will start talking about comparing to 'other investments' inflation etc :wall:
I was looking for a list comparing capital/date/basic % return on that.0 -
SE facing array , 3.68kWp DNC , SE UK
gen 4020 kWh , 12/12/11-11/12/12
Total FITs £1873 for year
(RTI 28.8% materials only cost as installer (very lucky position to be in))
Est. install cost £10,500
RTI at est. cost 17.8% ( 15.3% after finance cost )
No distinguishable saving on usage due to increase load since installation
Imported for period - 1274kWh
Exported 9/07/12 -11/12/12- 1514kWh0 -
hi james, thanks for being the first!
I take it you have 4kW of panels?
Are you able to put an install cost if you had done it for a customer instead of yourself at that time? (otherwise I understand it's meaningless putting your materials only cost). I wanted to compare peoples timescale to repay pure capital over time. Also, looks like your ROI will be highest too
Hope lots more post. I do think it would be interesting for all to see and compare.0 -

Interesting deduction for a new member ...... have you been lurking for a while or recently posting under a different profile ? .....
