Hi
i just want to ask something.
Are you paying the minimum payments plus £20-30 on each card or are you over paying on each?
If so wouldn't it make more sense to overpay a larger amount on one card and pay them off that way?
I may have mis understood your post so I do apologise!
But welcome and good luck as with most things in life, this is fixable it you work at it.Current debt - £16,300
Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
Welcome,
Lucy 1982 is right. If you can afford to overpay it should all be directed at the card with the highest APR. This is known as 'snowballing' check out https://www.whatsthecost.com for more info.
I think a spending diary would certainly help you find out where your money is going. Check out southernscousers sticky on the main board for all the things an SOA / budget should include.
Also, what have you spent the £30,000+ on? Anything that can be sold??0
