Just got back from the local Wetherspoons and they have a beer festival running from 23rd April to 7th May...
Anyway there is a leaflet with all the different beers of the festival on it, and on the last page there is a tear off application to Join CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale).
On the last page of the booklet there is the following text
'...join CAMRA today. Apply today and receive J D Wetherspoons real-ale vouchers worth £20, with your membership pack'

Camra membership is £20 a year if (£22 if you dont pay by direct debit) its even less if you are under 26 or over 60 - so depending on your pov you either get free CAMRA membership, or free beer!
Camra membership entitles you to a monthly newspaper on Beer and Brewing related news and articles, it also gives you discounts at beer festivals up and down the country, and the opportunity go go on social brewery trips and pub crawls with your local camra branch etc. and support the 'campaign to keep real ale and British pubs alive'
I don't think you need a special application form to apply, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to secure the vouchers to use one from the festival leaflet. I cannot find any mention of this on the Wetherspoons or CAMRA websites
All in all it seems like a good deal.:j - just don't drink it all at once!

I suspect the £20 worth of vouchers will be like "20p or 30p off" each pint of different ales.0
