hp 1100 inkjet printer...HELP!!!

My HP 1100 inkjet printer has conked out! Although I have replaced the magenta cartridge with three different types it still shows as empty. Have also tried changing the magenta printhead which cost over £20 and still no luck.

Have come to the conclusion it would be cheaper to buy a replacement printer! Got to find the same one as have got lots of replacment ink cartridges stocked up as I get through quite a lot printing brochures for our small business.

Only reason I purchased this printer is because HP do a double sided glossy brochure paper and my Epson wouldn't take it.

Any advice gratefully received.
