Telling creditors you are declaring BR

Just had a phone call that caught me at a bad time, & I told the creditor I'm declaring BR. It was foolish & they do not need to know, but is there anything I have left myself open to? Is there anything they can do in the next couple of weeks before I file? I have no assets so hopefully not, but would just like to check.
They said OK, just call us on the day, when you have the BR number...

Hi, i did the very same thing, tell one of my creditors i was planning to go bankrupt. They caught me in a bad moment and although i wasnt going to say anything about my planned bankrupcy i did. they said the same to me " tell us when you have" . I didnt contact them but left it to the OR, but i didnt hear from them anyway. Just dont let them in if they do come.
Good luck for your new start

Don't worry about it: it will make no difference to anything.
They won't do anything: there's hardly any time left before your bankruptcy anyway. Good luck with everything. xxx 0 -
If they are aggressive towards you then tell them and rub it in

Then post their responses here for us all to laugh at

The do not have enough time to do anything legally that might effect the debt/BR.
All they can do is pester you if they should feel inclined.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

I had the same issues I told my creditors that I was declaring bankruptcy before I did, some of the creditors were okay but cap quest and Cabot were quite aggressive toward me. However when I declared bankruptcy on 2nd January this year it was very satisfying telling the above when they called me that I was bankrupt and they could basically sod off.Lost in space🚀0
