Anyone know where I can buy iodized salt?

Hi there

I live and work in southwest London and have been trying to find iodized salt at my local supermarkets, with no luck. I can order online, but it costs a fortune.

Hope someone can help.

I think Lidl do it, certainly had it from them last year anyway. And it was cheap, about 30p a box or something daft like that.

I would like to make sure that I am getting some iodine in my diet. It is pretty important.

I'm not sure it's wise to increase your salt intake (even if you're only changing to iodinised salt from table salt) to increase your iodine uptake. You don't need a lot of iodine in your diet, and other foods will provide more than enough - fish, milk, eggs and kelp to name a few.
