Hello all.

My OH won this competition

and was contacted by the company to say he'd won.
They are now refusing to send him the ipad stating they can offer him a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 and a pair of head phones.

We have contacted the IPM who state they have passed it on to the ASA.

Does anyone have experience of the ASA?

What did the T&C's say? They usually reserve the right to substitute a prize (often for one of equal or higher value).

To sum up the thread above a Hotel withdrew the prize of a 2 night stay ASA basically told them not to do it again.

ASA worked for me on the two occasions they got involved but the value of each prize was no more than £50 each.

PlaceKnow.com is very soory.

We were in constant contact with the user and we made several proposals to him so that he was satisfied and happy. We passed him all the explanations. We wanted all the best for our user.

We are so sad that the matter had to get here. We take care of our users.

The user will get the prize Ipad, which he won.

Whilst the response is appriciated PlaceKnow it too you almost 5 weeks to reply to the message asking where the IPad was.
The options that have been offered work out at about 1/4 of the cost of an iPad.

I'm sure my OH looks forward to receiving the IPad that you keep promising to send.
