New job, but new costs...

I've posted on here already about my new job in Newark (NG24), but that's far enough away from home to warrant a move into Nottingham. So, I have to budget. And like nothing else; I've got 70-80 quid a week available to do everything with. So far:
- I've already found a place in the mean streets of inner Nottingham for £13 (!) a week including bills, which I'll be driving down to look at tomorrow. (They're hosting a BBQ tomorrow as well, so free food?
)
- Called up the train company to find out how much a season ticket from NG2 to NG24 would be, and they say £82; that's 20 a week.
- I'm being a bit liberal on the food budget, and going for another 20 a week; I can cut it down far past that, but I dunno where the Lidl/Aldi are in Nottingham yet :rotfl:
- I'll probably have to get a bike in order to get around the city, since I'm not paying the exorbitant bus fares. I was thinking freecycle, but I can't be fussed to run through the rigamarole of setting up with Yahoo; any other options?
So that's a total of.. £53/wk thus far. I'm going pretty well, but I've probably missed quite a lot out, so...
Suggestions! What have I missed?

Hi Two9A - congrats on the new job!
You say that you're driving down - do you have a car or are you getting a lift? Are you going to keep your car or will you be selling it now that you can use the train? If you're keeping it then I guess you'd have to factor in running costs.
Good luck, anyway0 -
I'll be leeching my brother's car for the drive (he might want to come down himself to look at the place
) So no real running costs involved there.
Thanks for the luck; hopefully it'll translate into the house not being riddled with rats and bullet holes :rotfl:Debts (26.3% remaining) - CC/BARC: [strike]2058[/strike] 100.00 @0%; CC/MBNA: [strike]1877.75[/strike] 0.00; Loan/SLC: [strike]10000[/strike] 7901.84 @1.5%; Loan/Per: [strike]1500[/strike] 0.00; Loan/HX: [strike]15000[/strike] 0.00
