A bit of fun, whats your lowest OP into your mortgage?
Today I made a cash OP of 88p!! As I left the bank I found 5p on the floor and nearly walked back in but didn't!
So my lowest OP is 88p - over the counter
Has anyone gone lower?
PS This is ontop of my normal OP

My lowest is about 31p I think. But I am sure the winner of this contest will be Tilly.
I would have walked back in with the 5p :rotfl:If Plan A fails, remember there are 25 more letters0 -

Please tell me you paid 31p over the counter? Or did you do it online.
Do we know how much Tilly has OP by...I was so tempted to put the 5p in, but may have felt a tiny bit silly handing 5p over the counter.MFW: Original December 2041 / Aim January 2028Current total overpayments: £0 Mortgage starts Dec 16It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop. Hi to all,
This may be a daft question, but do you all make multiple trips to your bank/building society each month to make overpayments - depending on what money you have etc., or do you put save it all up and make one trip? I made my first OP this month of £50 :j, I know it's not much, but I feel pretty good about it. I also found £5 in an old coat and thought I would put that towards next months OP so put it away until next month, but alas, I've spent it - didn't think I could go in and pay off any amount as and when??0 -
£50 for me!
Although i have, this week, sent the £65 share dividend for December straight into the mortgage
