    When I paid my deposit to my solicitor, I called Santander to setup the payment, which is close to 100k. The next morning, I received a phone call from Santander to check the payment detail. My solicitor received all the money after one hour. So I guess any payment under 100k should be OK to be set up by phone.

    1st February was a Friday. 6th was a Wednesday. So allowing time for the lender to respond to the solicitors enquiry. Seems reasonable as under 4 working days.

    The redemption figure was provided to the solicitors by fax so I'm presuming it didn't take 3 working days but I guess its possible.

    In the grand scheme I realise its pretty trivial but still a source of frustration. Maybe I'm too easily wound up when things dont go as I think they should :)
