Unfortunately, you have to pay by direct debit, so you have to remember to cancel after the 5 issues. Still a good deal, but I never trust myself to remember to cancel!0

I would be careful, I think you pay the £5 straight away, and then the wording is a little odd, but looks like you would get charged for your next issues when you get your third magazine.
"Subscribe to Craftseller and try 5 issues for £5 when you pay by Direct Debit. Your subscription will continue at £9.97 every 3 issues"
I'm tempted, but will cancel direct debit after first magazine arrives just incase, thanksComping wishlist for 2017

That's not how it usually works, they usually debit you straight after your last issue.
For example, history says
Subscribe to History Magazine and try 5 issues for £5 when you pay by Direct Debit. Your subscription will continue at £16.80 every 6 issues
So by your reasoning we'll get an issue free
Best thing is to do as you said (and what I've done in previous years) cancel the DD as soon as they've taken the £5 out!0 -
There's an off with TCB if you follow through with £5.05 cashback if you take up a trial offer. Could this work??0
