Why? It's not like they have any history of targeting people on low incomes, or in vulnerable positions, or the disabled or longterm sick (sorry, welfare scroungers is the technical term now) or women who have brains, political opinions, sexuality on their own terms, or gay people, people of colour or anyone else that isn't their middle class ideal, is it?

I believe Mark Thomas considered a political manifesto campaign to force the Daily Mail to acknowledge its past by having a small banner on the front page saying 'The paper that supported Hitler'.
