In my opinion only...I'd say swimming is a life skill and is a required expense. Put it under "Other child related expenses". I'd also add a few pounds under "Car parking". I'd lump all the satellite, internet and landline costs all under landline and put £60 a month to cover the cost of a package deal and a few out of package calls.

    Hi Lisa

Good luck with your BRs, you will feel better when its over and done with.

I think your clothing allowance is low compared to what others have had agreed. We put £100 with one extra child and I believe that was still low from what others have said and trust me, we could barely clothe ourselves in our BR year and I don't think the idea of going BR is to only shop in charity shops, which are pretty pricey anyhow these days.

The swimming as pointed out should be allowed under other child related expenses. Does the gas and electric definitely cover all the costs as ours ended up being way higher than that in our rented property. We initially put £120 per month for both but the actual cost in our poorly insulated (but lovely home) ended up at around £170 per month so we ended up owing. Good luck once again & when baby 2 comes along.

    Thanks Maizy!

We don't have double glazing here so may end up having a higher bill.. maybe I will speak with BG to see what our usage is - thanks for that.

Clothes - To be honest we spend about £25-/30 om just on our son and thats pri-mark! May up that a bit as will need some more maternity clothes soon :) What do you think about £80 for 3 of us??

    :)

    Yep - breakdown is:

£11 NHS pre-payment card (husband takes lots of meds)
£50 - Private accupuncture for husband as NHS do not offer it :( OR is welcome to see his medical records!!)
