  • In that case, reduce it to the minimum (it's currently free borrowing) and use the difference on the Capital One CC.

After speaking to hubby, he says the Tesco CC is set at £500 because that's what he set it at. News to me!!

    Ah ha!

I also think its quite hard to advise on a SOA when by your own admission it's not a "normal" example month :o
  • NaN is "Not a Number" usually get that if the field wants a numeric value eg "20" but instead you enter "20%"

So, if you switched to a minimum repayment on your Tesco card, you wouldn't be accumulating more debt every month? Trying setting it up so that all the minimums go out each month, but then add a further few quid (even just £1) to each. This looks better on your credit report.

If you can drastically cut back the groceries, and reduce those other expenses as the contracts renew or whenever you can, you should be a lot more comfortable.

Start with the grocery bill by going through your cupboards and seeing what you actually have in. Do the freezer, fridge, everything, until you have worked out a bit of a meal plan for the next two weeks. Make a list of the bits you need to buy, and stick to it (milk, fresh veg etc) but use up what you have. You might find you don't need to spend very much at all this month!

    Good luck
