Morning all.
Hope this big thaw turns up soon because the footpaths are sheets of ice and trying to get a double buggy up a hill is now almost impossible :mad:
Unfortunately if it goes the way expected and thaws out due to rain we'll be stuffed to as we're at the bottom of a hill and liable to flood from the water running down (although it's extremely rare it happens here about once a decade) so I may need a quick cheap deal on some sand bags
Caught whoopsies at Ts last night for the first time in a long time and can't believe the riot that breaks out! Wouldn't believe people really stand and wait for an hour or 2 for them to be done and then fight over the stuff if i hadn't seen it with my own eyes! Poor staff members should be given full riot gear and pepper spray. I managed to get 2 little bits after the carnage had calmed down, wasn't gonna get caught in the crossfire (ban the lot of them I say!)
Anyway, better try and get this housework done - yeah rightHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55

Daniel must have left last night on a plane.......he will be back. Keep dropping in evenings if it is on your way home. Make sure you have stash of fivers in your car!!!
Stick them down your bra:rotfl::rotfl:never stop doing your best because someone doesn't give you credit0 -
I used to go to Greasbys a lot 4 or 5 years ago. They are very naughty in that they take out all the best stuff and you usually only get clothes in them. They sell all the other bits likes cameras and electricals seperately. I stopped going because so many people were going that the prices were going through the roof and I think its a bit of a gamble now:( But its good fun and definately an experience, although MrLala won't say that when I tell you one day I bought 15 suitcases and he couldnt get them all in his car (Its his baby;)) Nannylala was here when I got home and she'll tell you we used to have a right giggle going through them all.DS just used to look at me as if I was mad:rotfl::rotfl:
Nothing has changed then.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Caught up
The night shift were so quiet!
I bought a pair of tweezers this morning :rotfl: I could have got 2 wombles if I'd had them before as there was a juicy looking receipt just out of my reach in the trolley bay. My small sada requires coins for the trolleys and I'm still not brave enough to spend 10 minutes taking them out to get to a receipt. May nip back in the morning and see if it's still there
Be brave, you dont have to move as many trolleys as you think. Always have £1 in your pocket!essex girl in exile0 -
Morning everyone
Caught up quick today for a change. So pleased to hear your news Logie
Still a ton of snow here and frozen over now with really compact hard paths and so very very cold. I think a big pot of curry will have to be made for tonight.
Off to do some work now but will catch up later on. Have a good day all x0
