Good morning all
Atleast no more snow for today, although it's coming back for the weekend, I can't believe I have only been on here 3 times and it's almost time for a new . Hopefully I haven't missed too many bargains.0 -
Three guys went to a ski lodge, the rooms are full, so they have to share a room with one bed. In the middle of the night, the guy on the right wakes up and says, “I had this very wild dream of getting a hand job!” The guy on the left wakes up, and said “That’s unbelievable, I had the same dream too!”. Then the guy in the middle wakes up and says, “That’s funny, I dreamed I was skiing!”What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

:mad:Morning all. Just noticed my OH has finished the bottle of cough medicine I brought yesterday. He was up all night with cough and cold, hope he hasn't overdosed himself.0

That's so good about DS and the whoopsies. It's a good lesson learned when they are short of money and should be a lesson to carry through life. I wonder how old our youngest member is on here?
I have a few points left on my Boots card and quite fancy a new Sanctuary Candle. Oh no wait I have one in the Sanctuary Mandular scent on top of the bookcase which has bee there at least 3 years and I am too mean to open it cause it looks so nice.
That is soo me. I keep things in their boxes coz they're so lovely - esp the expensive 'treat' stuff! This year I am trying to use things up, so not buying too much this month - and definitely not doing the Argos gift cards!! (Although Patty's comment re sports bra almost made me put my boots on and dash down!!)0 -
Reading back just came across the posts re purchasing lost suitcases:TLala has always been a bit of an entrenerpuer in more ways than one but this particular episode brings to mind the use of rubber gloves and black sacks:eek:Saying that we discovered some really things good that made money along side some carp plus we had a lot of laughs :rotfl::rotfl:0

Hi gang!
Picked my order of 40 pairs up, they were originally for handing out to family and friends but they are so flippin gorgeous I'm keeping the lot! Sorry guys not sharing a single one........ok I've let DD have a pair! These are the only things that are making the cold bearable at the minute. Trying to remind myself that tough times like this only come to serve as a reminder that we should be grateful for our blessings.
Ooo they sound lovely.

Thanks fairclare. Just knew today was going to be good. Still haven't found the uggs I want but think I might have now - see two that I like - off to decide and then catch up.
Smile
and hopefully the world will smile back0 -

We got home yesterday. It was so nice to sleep in my own bed. Shame I woke up feeling like there is a brick sitting on my chest
Feel completely stuffed up again. Hope it doesn't take so long to clear this time. Found a cough bottle that I had so took some of that, but it's one that 'may' cause drowsiness and jeez oh it doesn't half, I can hardly keep my eyes open now! :rotfl:
Too far behind to catch up properly but hope all is well here and sending big squishy hugs to anyone who needs them.
Get well soon.Enterprise_1701C wrote: »Three guys went to a ski lodge, the rooms are full, so they have to share a room with one bed. Good Morning . Folks . Never pay more than you have to.
I'll add my own take on this: Always pay more than you have to (on items cheaper in a competitor - in order to either get more loyalty points and then reset the store to the competitor's lower price, or in order to get refunded to lower than the competitor's price, or in order to get a DTD claim).
Never buy items at half price in the place they're on half price as you'll get fewer CC points, etc., instead buy at competitor and get voucher to 10% cheaper than the half prices; buy at inflated price to get more points (in a store you'd already be shopping at) and back to the rival's price - then more points on the refund spend (preferably on items cheaper elsewhere in order to get another refund and points boost etc.). It doesn't seem too strange that this sort of method of increasing points doesn't seem to be promoted by the stores. (Perhaps because it works better and obtains more than the methods the chains do give for boosting points, or maybe I'm being my normal cynic self!)
Have a good day.0 -
Depends if the case is lost outbound or not!!;)
Usually there is a premium on outbound cases (peeps going on holiday loads of new clothes etc)
inbound is a different story..imagine getting the case of a teenager returning from Kavos!
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: OMG that was an eye opener. Dreading my kids getting to that age - not long now though.0
