Off to bed just as I've caught up? Looks like I'll have to get on here earlier on school nights:(

Not a laptop by the way, it's a new desktop for my "office". Had an enthralling evening getting used to Windows8:D

I bought my OH a laptop for his birthday with windows 8......worth the money just watching him trying to figure it out:rotfl::rotfl:

in true man style, he doesn't need to read any instructions first:cool:

A very good evening to you all :D

Mad been out all day playing after being stir crazy with dodgy foot.

Had great fun huzzing ice balls into the local Tesco's and then pointing at random kids when a Trout appeared :D:D:D

    Glad your foot's better.

On the other hand, it was meant to be a gif video thing, but it appears not to have worked. :o

yeh...I think I tried to do a moving one in the past and couldn't get it to work, so I gave up. Nice accordian tho:D :rotfl:

Hope all is well with you all tonight, not long back from my MRI scan, the 70 mile journey home in the dark and snow was no fun, first time in 25 years of driving that I have been in freezing fog as bad as that. Anywhoo, home safe and sound, results in 2 weeks...........and breathe :-)
Enjoyed spending my Argos/Debs cards today, especially when she accidentially took the (daily mail) 20% off all my sales goods too.
I really cant read back, I have been keeping up while off with the sickness bug, but back to the real world tomorrow.
I nipped into Asda on the way home and caught woopsie time, for the first, and last time ever, the pushing, shoving, grabbing stuff out of the workers hands, unbelievable behaviour. I said to him I had never witnessed this before and he said he has to put up with it every night, poor man. I could say more but would probably get shot down in flames. I found the behaviour of some of these folks disgusting. Seagulls are the bane of our lives living by the coast, that was what it reminded me of.
Have I missed any glitches today?
Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.

Not that there are many instructions with anything these days... everything is supposed to be intuitive:( Last time I bought a Desktop PC (10 years ago:o) it came with loads of manuals, software etc. With this new Dell all I've got is a driver disk and a leaflet showing you how to plug it in:eek:
    Awaiting a new sig

Did you have to go to raigmore for your scan? or do you go to Aberdeen? Either way what a trek at this time if year, in this weather too! Keeping everything double crossed you get good results:A. Hope you are getting over the bug thing as well.

You didn't miss any exciting glitches today. Look after yourself x

I used to go to Greasbys a lot 4 or 5 years ago. They are very naughty in that they take out all the best stuff and you usually only get clothes in them. They sell all the other bits likes cameras and electricals seperately. I stopped going because so many people were going that the prices were going through the roof and I think its a bit of a gamble now:( But its good fun and definately an experience, although MrLala won't say that when I tell you one day I bought 15 suitcases and he couldnt get them all in his car (Its his baby;)) Nannylala was here when I got home and she'll tell you we used to have a right giggle going through them all.DS just used to look at me as if I was mad:rotfl::rotfl:

15! :rotfl: Oh my days, good on u girl :T

same here, I think they are all like that these days. Not even any discs with this one. But there's plenty of help online.....I always think that beats swearing at the new machine and huffing, puffing and sighing at it because you don't know how it works.

the funniest thing was watching him trying to tap on the app screen, when it isn't a touch screen:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. I gave in and felt sorry for him when he went out for a stress busting smoke and got the normal looking desktop window open for him. He's getting used to it now

    Evening all,

Been a busy day, but all caught up now :D
DH has popped out for the evening so I won't get into trouble for not listening to him properly because i'm reading :o

Took DS to Drs this morning about his nosebleeds. She wasn't particularly concerned, just took a swab and has given us some more cream to try. So that's my first piece of GOOD news :D

This afternoon we took DH for his biopsy. It all went well. Dr managed to get a good sample and is fairly convinced its an accumulation of calcium caused by him banging his arm a few times in the same place. The sample has been sent off to make sure, but if it is calcium then definitely not anything to worry about and if it might not even have to be removed if its not bothering him :j
Hope you're all having a good day too x

That's such good news logie, great stuff :)
