Been a struggle to get on here today at work thn I struggle to get on when I get home!

I have to turn my traction control off in wet weather. Not driven this car in these conditions because I haven't had to, but I could leave it on ok in the old one. I drive a Mazda.

My old BMW was auto and it was always leave in park. Well, the routine would be stop, neutral, find level, handbrake and then park. In the snow and ice, it was always in ice mode.

    Fab pics FK.

Logie I am utterly in awe at you. Not only do you have your own health problems, you are also dealing with your OH biopsy and little ones nosebleeding. That is a hell of a lot to deal with, and I certainly would struggle to cope as well as you. I take my hat off to you :)

Walk to work this morning was 98% sheer ice, 1% crunchy ice and 1% road

Why do you find it better with the traction control off please? I also drive a Mazda (6 SL Diesel) but haven't found any particular problems in current conditions:)

Snuggled up in bed, mrs browns boys on TV, electric blanket on and cat snuggled up next to me :D

I swear the cat switches the blanket on by herself. I don't remember doing it!

Only in the rain. It's almost as if there is too much grip. I drive a 6 something or other... I can't be bothered to get dressed and go take a look :o

I haven't driven it in this weather as I haven't needed to. I rarely drive to work as its only 2.5 miles away
