    A statistic from today's paper.

37% of the under 35s never wear a watch.

Neither my DS or DD wear one.....
    Are watches dying out:o:)

    Will they become extinct:eek:

Don't worry, I will make up for it. I have about 25 :D

Most of it is over 30 years old but just been looking on eBay and there doesnt seem much interest in it. A lot of the stuff has no bids. I watched a couple of pieces go for next to nothing:o

You need to find the companies that sell discontinued stock. Either through searching the web or contacting some of the sellers on Ebay who are clearly businesses reselling. I sold a cheap Johnson set (remember those 8-sided plates) that was 20 years old, they collected and packed it up and gave me a lot more than I had paid for it, cash.

I've also sold odd plates from Royal Doulton/ Worcester that long dead aunts must have left at relatives houses at one time. I guess people were in the habit of bringing cakes to a family tea and leaving the plates behind.

Agree, my kids never wear a watch, as they always have their phone with them!

Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.

    Hi Flabs.

It is much easier just to give in and accept that these three despicable characters will continue to call you every variation of FF that they can think of. Look at me, I have a perfectly good username and all I get is DJ, Dumpy, Grumpy etc!! How hard is it really to type FF or SFSB??

Anyway, at least we are both still young and extremely attractive, traits I doubt any of the aforementioned trio can claim!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I admit I don't wear one but only because I am allergic to the metal on the back. Thinking about it makes me itch! I do have clocks everywhere though.:)

    Hi queenie

bless, I so feel for them:(

My neighbour said the same thing, she's 74 and loves to go walking to the small snainsbobs but has not been able too. I had a food delivery and as I asked all the lovely people who live on this rd if they wanted anything...it became a bit of a communal delivery:) it was most funny how most of the road had something or other in, I spent a little time delivering it all, only to the elderly folk here, the rest of them can come fetch their chopping:p

If I was local, I'd attempt to go take them out! hope they and you are ok:)

mum, my hubby , daughter and I live in the same house, mum smokes and ever since my daughter was about 7 she has only smoked outside, all I've been doing today is brushing the snow away so that she can go and have her fags, now got a hot water bottle where I ache from brushing snow for her and chipping ice off next doors pavement (Both elderly) so they could get to their car:)
