All schools in our area are closed tomorrow, thanks for the snow prayers/dances guys :beer::beer::j:j:j:T:T:T

hopefully, the trains won't be running. The [STRIKE]dragon[/STRIKE] boss thinks I am going to make up the time if I can't get to work. She can think again! :D

Edit: sorry if you are inconvenienced, but a snow day is the equivalent of the banker's bonus for those who work in education (and we don't even get one every year)

I'm seriously moving, I thought we were supposed to get bad snow in Wales, 1 pigging day off our school and no sign of snow tonight!:(

Still hope though, keep snow dancing :D

emmlouie this cousin I speak of went to Oxford and is currently earning 6 figures...his younger sibling is now at Cambridge Uni....my aunt did something right there:) hope your little one stays interested, keep him interested by surrounding him with academic stuff/mentally stimulating educational stuff...sounds boring I know, but read papers with him, do maths, and defo keep him away from comp games, occasionally on a big console is fine I reckon its when they are on their vita or ds for hrs is when the little ones drift off and get most into that...just my opinion:)

the only console he owns is his LeapPad Explorer, occassionally i let him play on my kindle but not often. both my boys love books but then they have always seen me and my DH reading a lot:). i do enjoy doing little games with him to help him with his learning. i like to make it all fun for him. he is really into numbers. his younger brother is now showing more interest and joining in too which is good as he starts school this year.

i've always done this, except when parking on a hill. OH leaves the car in gear some times. It drives (pardon the pun:D) me nuts as the car has been known to bounce off the wall on a few occasions, when I turn the engine on

I still don't understand why it would be left in gear on a hill :o:o

Ds3 has flushed the bath plug down the toilet so im using a glass and i keep knocking it over:mad:must get new plug on Monday.

Just spotted this and remembered a funny story my parents tell us...well every time we get together it's now mentioned, my sibling and I used to go to the kitchen...we were so small couldn't reach the cutlery drawer, they used to give me a leg up and I would grab as many knives and forks, spoons possible...we would then run to the bathroom and deposit all said cutlery into the toilet and flush...repeat, over and over until we got caught:eek: we were aged only 2 and 1/2 and 3 and 1/2 but would do this most days...nerfdad bet feel you have it easy now;)

I fail to understand why I did this and remain:o

My aim for 2013 was to get fitter and I stumbled across what I thought should be one of the easiest exercises ever.......but it hurts...

How long can you last before falling into a heap on the floor? Who is reasonably fit amongst us?

Hi Westvleteren, The plank is difficult, you really need good core stability for this one. The position is the most difficult thing to hold. It's important not to hold it too long to begin with so you don't get into the habit of your back sagging. It took me while to to learn this one. I to prefer side bend.
Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.
