it's quite spooky here the road ends at my house then it's the back of a large secondary school but with no entry from this side . so absolutely no through traffic . and none of my neighbours have been out in their cars since Friday . the road is a hill with us at their top and because of the lack of traffic and being north facing usually takes a week to clear enough to drive on . so I'm trapped!! cleared my path yesterday but it's got about 1cm snow in the last hour:hello: The grass is not greener, it just looks that way from a distance :hello:0

Ooooh how do you sign up?
We have an argos card and sometimes get £5 off £50 spend vouchers and last time they let us use that and the toy trade one together
I don't remember signing up, but I have reserved lots of items for collection in store. They always send me an email or text to confirm. If you have done this in the past, then you will probably receive an email with the voucher attachedIf not, I am sure you can just sign up on the website

DW saw 2 cars that had been parked on a hill and had obviously slid down it and hit each other (no drivers in either) on Thursday . I remember someone telling me to aim wheel at kerb for ice, handbrake failure etc.
Dont ever do it but I would on an icy hill if nowhere else to park
Imagine the hills of San Fransisco.... we're like that here, down one hill, another road going across at the bottom, and then another one going up straight opposite.
Have visions of doing a pin ball effect if driving down this hill in snow or on ice, missing cars parked on either side is hard work.
Always park with wheel turned into the kerb and gear in opposite direction to what I'm facing! Anything to minimise risk! The mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0 -
