Must admit I do drop into pitmatic at times but there's a lot of blurring and smoothing of what were once very local dialects and jargon.
Having a mam and dad that came from Jarrow and Wallsend respectively, being brought up in South Durham/Teesside and working for some time in Sunderland I've unconsciuosly adopted a lot of words etc from the whole region.
