Popped into a WHS earlier. Didnt have a lot of time but did go have a little play with the kobo arc. Not bad at all. The display is amazing and is bright and sharp from some right oblique angles. More research required but it's definatley a contender having had a little play with it.
Price stacks up with too. £189 but for that you also get a free £20 giftcard so really its £169 which for a 32gb machine is not bad.
Unlike most tablets it has a wide bezel which isnt to everyones liking, but on the flip side it comes top in all the tablet drop tests suggesting the bezel protects the screen quite a lot. Important for a clumsy !!!!!! like me and also of course if its just gonna get tossed in the glovebox then some protection is no bad thing.0 -

Isn't WHSmith a bit of an odd shop at the moment. It's neither one thing or the other. I think it's sort of losing its niche. I deliberately didn't buy gift vouchers to give as presents this year as I have done in the past:oTo do is to be. Rousseau
