    First stop Sada
Labelle on one checkout and Monsieur Labelle on another.

Labelle gets 10 binbags and a few other bits - after APG cost equals 29p

Monsieur goes thru with litre of gin (for a present ;)) cost after apg £2.40

    Second stop Tosco.

Labelle and co buy £26 ish worth of goods and hand over a M&S fiver....not a problem. Have a wee chat with the lad behind the till about the weather and the protests and while the converstaion was going on he took my wee pile of apg's and put them all thru - final bill for Labelle £2.09.

    Not a bad evenings work:D

For you newbies this is a bit about my ex and why he got cat food butties :rotfl:i posted this last year and thought i would repost. xxxxx is name of user i have deleted.

xxxxx he will never own up to having a drink problem. He won't be able to see it drinking will come naturally. Yes everything will be yours or DS problem or even the dogs animals etc it was the same in my house with ex HH horrible hubby.

Is he nice as pie when he's sober ?

Wont tell you what i put up with but it's not nice.
Please dont put up with it for a long while like i did he wont change. My ex an alcoholic now and i have nothing to do with him.

I thought i would not be able to cope on my own and that it was all my fault he drank told lies and we never had any money even tho i worked 12 hour days

When he came home and said he had something to tell me and had lost his job that was the final straw i plucked up courage from somewhere and told him i had something to tell him and he could get out .:) Give him a week to go. He went with no arguments and it was the best thing i ever did.

I did struggle at begining because i was left with money worries bills not paid when i thought they had i had given him money to pay them

Had to pack in my well earned job to look after DS but it was all worth it. OMG i am sat here thinking well done gal.

I sorted money worries out got divorced and have never looked back. Hope i not wrote TMI sorry guys and gals if i have.

Well done, girl. :T:T:T Not TMI and you should be proud of yourself.

Speaking of dips, do you know how to make a nice hot (as in temp) baked blue cheese dip?? Got a couple of lovely ones over christmas and want to replicate them.

    Good evening everyone :)

Pleased some are enjoying the snow, and that others are being sensible not driving in the snow that they've got.

Very special snow up north, so fine, and so sparkly! Drifting, but gritters have their snowploughs on, so they must be expecting worse to come.

Walked along by the canal this evening to M's and T's. Canal frozen over, and snow on that ice.

Saw Christmas cranberry & orange cupcakes kits on the reduced shelf with a SEL of £5.... scanned it expecting a misprice and it would go through very much reduced, as they had reduced them to £1.25 I think? Anyhow, yes, back up to £5!!!

Rhosynbach, congrats on the safe arrival of the DGS, and lookingforabargain, sorry to hear your news, hope all will take care on the journeys you'll be doing over the next week or so.

Pleased to read Nannylala's tip of getting candles/lighters at the ready, you never know.

This time of year, I carry a bottle of water and some kitchen roll in the car, to clean the windscreen and headlights with, as you can guarantee the wiper washers won't be working. Driving in bad conditions and not being able to see isn't the best of drives :(

    'Night all :)
