Yes Patty was able to use my double points coupon and 2 x 300 point coupons WYS £30 from mailout (altho double points doesn't work on extra free points). I had been going to split my shop to get the WYS points but SA said easier to put it all through as one transaction as only can use double points voucher once during the day and as the shop was coming to over £60 she would make sure I got both sets of 300 points as well (which she did..) easier for her and me.
Also spent my gift vouchers on perfume as a treat (half price) and got a WYS voucher from machine for this. Glad some of you got £15 and £20 WYS option - Boots Monks X York £40 - so got some razors for OH to top up!
Customer service at Mr Shoes usually very good - so fingers crossed for you Patty.0 -

I went to Boots and got too much .....:rotfl:
Ted Baker case
Boots No 7 box
Champneys Spa box
Robot/lego type thing for DS
Fizzy bath bomb sandcastle things and miko cat kits (use for party bags for DD birthday in Feb).
Hello Kitty/Liberty bath set with shower cap for party pressies
Various sets for nieces and males in the family.
Loads of birthdays in next 2months (including a 40th and 21st) so now sorted. Was able to use up all my Boots points - and now already have £24 ... (I haven't shopped in Mr Shoes for a couple of years).
Did get most of what I wanted but no Joules bags in Monks X York. Very civilsed - small queue from 8.30 am - nice group chatting re the bargains (Boots don't open til 9am but they took pity and let us in at 8.45 to browse as all staff not arrived yet - so no checking out before 9am). Great to see everyone getting bargains - on line pants as usual trying to get to any page but first one. Glad to see some got through - well done!.0 -
Went into T's last night.

Right any of the locals go to teeside park boots this morning and see a man wearing what can only be described as a black cloak being dragged from boots and arrested  clutching gift sets.
Just trying to work out where artha might be as he has not made an appearance all dayand he was not sure if he was going to the boots sale , yeah right .
I was tricked :rotfl:it must be worth it

Evening all (or morning depending how long before I press submit:rotfl:)
Just had a long and busy day so,no, I wasn't arrested at Teesside Park for causing havoc...I left that to the likes of Barbara6812 with her steel toed workboots:eek:
Had to go to town this morning to pick up a sick note for DW so called in at Mr Shoes at about 9:15 first and found it almost deserted. Looked like the scavengers had been and gone by then but there was still a lot on the shelves. Found the one thing I was looking for and parted with only £2.50:)(points actually).
Needed to go to Teesside Park on other business so called in at Mr Shoes there. As expected it had been largely stripped bare with the SAs still twitching and clinging onto the shelves lest they found themselves being scooped up into someones trolley:rotfl:
Called in at Morries to pick up some A2 milk and found a stash of RTC items including quite a few L'Oreal Men Expert aftershave balm/face creams and King Of Shave oils...all for 50p each:) Makes a change to get something for myself:rotfl:Also picked up a few things for me at TKmax.
After getting back home I needed to go to T to check tyre pressures as my warning light had come on but the air wasn't working due to ice in the lines:mad: Still don't know whether I've got a puncture or just naturally lost a bit of pressure (run flat tyres fitted). As I was there thought it would be rude not to pop in. Glad i did as I picked up quite lot of finest smoked salmon packs at 30p/pack (after 3f10 discount kicked in). Unusual to get some good price whoopsies mid/late afternoon
Even better was DTD on two Tesco Finest Pannetone..should have been £5 but went through at £12.50 so paid £5 to take them away:). Was refused initially as according to all the CS staff Tesco apparently don't do DTD anymore:rotfl:. Don't like doing it on the rare occasion it happens to me but I had to point out the board. Game set and match:rotfl:
Spent the rest of the day/evening researching options for a new Desktop PC but after going round in circles eventually ordered a Dell about an hour ago.
Phew, time to relax a bit now:rotfl: Anyone still awake?Awaiting a new sig0 -

Its been interesting to read how people think its worked out for them :rotfl:
My shop came to £57 and i used 350 points wys £35 together with double points and a bonus 150 points wyb any teatree product. This was at a manned till by the way
SA said that I could use them altogether but my double points would only work on whatever i spent above the £35 threshold.
She was absolutely right. My receipt shows points received were 316 (35x4=140, plus 22x8=176)
Then below this was my 500 bonus points (350 and 150)
Total points received 816. Which I then redeemed for 2 men's gift setsApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
