thanks for all the messages re ds3 they really made our day ,, he is still a bit sore but otherwise back to his normal happy self, the staff in alder hey were lovely he was under the anesthetic for a while so they decided he was not fit to travel home but good news he does not have crohns disease which is what they thought he had so:j:j but have to wait for biopsys and blood tests now but feeling quite positive,

could not get on earlier as walked through the door and dd1 turns up with 18month old dgd for me to look after as she had to go to midwife ends up being admitted as babies heart beat slightly raised and she is 10 days overdue they were going to induce her but no beds on labour ward she stayed in over night til this evening keep getting told she will be going soon, but no beds so she has come home and will go back tomorrow but they said they will monitor her but don't think they will have any beds so she will be sent home again

she is totally fed up but I shall enjoy the peace until dgd turns up early tomorrow, shall read back now and see what I have missed,, hopefully no good glitches

Sounds like good news for your DS - hope your DD goes into labour soon I can't imagine what it would be like going that far overdue but as you say enjoy the peace as no doubt it won't last long

    Sains BM versus T

I've noticed quite a few items with significantly different prices at S and T, so if you want to collect more Nectar points and not wait around till after the different expiry dates at T for poss DTD (and meet all the BM T&Cs):

    McDougalls Upper Crust Chicken & Asparagus Pie (680g) S £3.49 T £1.74 Offer at T due until 21/1/13
    Quorn Mince 500g S £3.00 T £1.67 T offer until 21/1/13
    Pukka Pies Chicken & Mushroom 266g S £1.69 T £1.00 T offer until 5/2/13
    Rustlers Microwave Quarter Pounder 190g S £2.00 T £1.00 T offer until 5/2/13
Innocent Carribean Veg Pot: Carribean Jerk Curry with Coconut Rice Sweetcorn and Mango 380g S £3.79 T £1.89 T offer until 5/2/13
    Napolina Spaghetti 1kg S £2.95 T £1.00 T offer until 29/1/13
    Nestle Diary Box 200g S £4.39 T £2.00 T offer until 14/2/13 (but still £1.00/100g)
Cadbury Wispa 4 pack S £1.79 T £1.00 T offer until 29/1/13 (This pack of Wispa not stocked by Sada: but BM vs the £1 is the cheapest per g for Wispas, excluding any glitch possibilities)
Cussons Mum & Me Baby Sleep Tight Baby Bath Wash 500ml S £2.99 T 99p T offer until 11/2/13 (best thing with the Cussons Mum & Me is that it appears to only be stocked at a limited number of Toscos, and isn't stocked at many, incl. my own, can't find this range on tosco.com but I know, from my previous experience, it does compare on the BM)
    Truly Scrummy Organic Apple Banana & Mango 4mth + baby food (100ml) S 19p T n/a
(Also three other versns of Truly Scrummy on MSM, priced 28p, 28p, 37p; all n/a at T)
    Annabel Karmel Organics Apple Pear & Blueberry Puree 130g S 32p T n/a
    Sains Cream of Tomato Soup (4x400g) S £1.50 T n/a
    Sains Basics Handwash 500ml S 38p T n/a

(Please check tosco.com in advance of shopping at S, as I'm using MSM whereas BM gets its details from scanning tosco's website)

If I come across any more (S v T & shld be NA in A), I may add them to this post later.

Items that didn't make it: Johnson's Baby Skincare Wipes 56 - vs T's 89p (I've seen larger packs for cheaper per wipe at Home Bargns). Ecover Toilet Cleaner Pine Fresh 750ml - vs T £1.00 - own brands (incl m'buys on own brands are often cheaper per 100ml). Cadbury Time Out 9s - vs T £1.00 - I've seen larger packs at cheaper price per unit in M (and Av M on those at those particular times 10% cheaper than that). Sunpride Mango Drink 1L - vs T's 2 for £1 - cheaper Aasini Juice Drinks were recently avail. in T. Natural Confec. Co. Jelly Snakes 200g = vs T's £1.00. I've seen these before at 70p (and lower than that, on equivs, e.g. similar sweets packs of around this weight often 50p in Lidl). Honey Monster Sugar Puffs 320g - T £1.00 (still 33.3p/100g, more expensive than £1.49 on 625g at T - offer rolled over to 20/1/13) Del Monte 100% Orange 3 Lollies - £1.19 at T, seen as too expensive by me - as offers on other branded lollies sometimes go down to 99p (and 10% cheaper via Sada) and own brands often cheaper etc. Bisto Roast Chicken & Roast Beef Dinners 400g - seen as too expensive per g by me.

Evening, well done all those that got things in the Mr Shoes sale. Could you tell me please if 'White Collection' & 'Botanics' items are any good for prezzies or is it really cheap stuff? I never buy anything like that so don't know if it's good or not. Did anyone else get the 200 extra points for a £20 spend from the machine use today only. :)
My understanding is that discount (staff and NHS) don't work on the 75% off sale.

I got the 10% discount that is on my advantage card, for being part of the contact lens by post scheme.

Included in my stack were some nice mens' botanics stuff. Full price was £20 and £16.
