Hi Elite, remember me? (Probably not!) Been away for 4 weeks and have missed an entire thread:o
Hope you all are well and had a lovely Christmas and New Year. Got home Tue evening from Florida and its freezing. Ready now to keep up with you all and do some serious moneysaving. Need another trip to the sun asap.

Yes thanks I had them from Amazon £17 instead of £45 with free delivery and they are really nice

Glad you got them. Now you will want new utensils to use with them. :)
  • Morning Guys
Cannot hang around today - my son launches his own restaurant tomorrow ..........gulp!! the Milton Brasserie at Crathes, Banchory - for those of you on facebook!
don't know whether to be proud, nervous or plain petrified but the list of jobs to be done before tomorrow grows ever longer.......so much for being a sleeping partner!!!
  • Welcome to Jeamthejew - you have obviously not been told what you are letting yourself in for, either that or you are totally insane, you seem to be quite willing to join in! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

:wave::wave: Sharon-P, I remember you and I am sure many more do. Welcome back to the madhouse, and to the cold weather!

  • Brrr..getting chilly sitting here, and I've spent more than my permitted half hour!!! 2nd load of washing waiting to be hung somewhere, and coffee needed.

Am v impressed by some of the wombles out there. I've only got to 19p so far this year :( I haven't been out too much though - I did a mahoosive shop on Sunday, which I thought would last me at least 10 days. Can't believe I am now sitting here writing another list. :( Will have to pop out after I've tackled DDs bedrom. We are having a problem with mould in there, which is vile. Any good suggestions? I suspect the damp is coming in through cracked render and an ill fitting window. Will get the window changed soon, but am dreading the thought of getting the rendering re-done. At least it's only first floor that is rendered.

Hugs to the Glitch Fairy (It's been so long I wonder if she/he's feeling exhausted!)

    BFN :)

Can any dog lovers advise where to get cheap doggie things from?

DH announced last night that he's getting a puppy (Patterdale?) next week.

Congratulations :T, if you have a home bargains or the likes have a look in there, they have the puppy pads and some great chews and treats at a really good price :)
