Nothing but a hard frost here please send the snow in this direction
You can have mine, half melted into a frozen wasteland so none of the pensioners and disabled can get out, you're welcome to it:rotfl:
Just braved a trip to the local shops for some bread, checked the little old lady of 97 who lives up the close on my road to see if she wanted anything there but she didn't need anything:)"Sealed Pot challenge" member No. 138

I had to go into B's early this morning to collect glasses for DH. They still had half price tickets out with no sign of any 75% sale - I asked what was happening and they said the Sale wasn't on today. I said I was sure it was and they said they hadn't heard anything and I must be mistaken. A staff member took a gift box to scan at the till - clearly thinking it was a waste of time - and, you've guessed it, the sale WAS on ! Cue staff running around like mad taking half price banners down (and also grabbing various sets for themselves and shoving them under the counter - I don't grudge them fair dibs but I didn't think they were supposed to do that when they are working). Seeing as it was only me in there that knew about the sale I was able to get quite a few bargains. My store is only small though so not a huge stock available. Always tickles me when customers know more about things than the staff do !ELITE 5:2

Good morning everyone
Hope all goes well today Mark
Didn't bother with Mr Shoes sale - been snowing again overnight and I'm too cold and miserable to be bothering with getting into a scrum with folk I don't even know  :rotfl:
I think a big pot of home made soup is called for today (once I catch up on here of course).
Have a good day peeps.0 -
Hiya
Thanks for the heads up on the boots sale. I went after school run (was late as car door wouldnt shut so spent 20mins sorting that out) and it was a scrum, people shoving and pushing. but i did manage to get most of the adults in the family xmas and birthday presents for the year. saved myself £120 so am really pleased.i didnt go as mad as most of the people in there, i only had a basket, bit dissapointed on a few things i missed out on but still really pleased.
