Morning all.
Hope everyone is ok.
No more snow in Cambridge yet. :j I'm off to scout out boots and see what's there ready for tomorrow (hopefully) and I've got to pick up my cheap John Lewis doormats and m +s socks. I'm gonna be passing a sada so does anyone want anything checking out??Well no shopping for me today I opened my front door and there was 2 feet of Snow outside
Brilliant. :T:DLife is not about learning to avoid the storms - it's about learning to dance in the rain.0 -
Went to get wood in and triggered a firewood avalanche, managed to jump out the way
and it it filled my baskets
then proceeded to bury them
Anyway, fire is roaring away, had to drag the dog back in after an hr of going berserk. Nothing left to do for the rest of the day accept to keep stoking the fire. Anyone want to swap such an idyllic rural life for the rest of the winter? Also comes with lawn so you can make huge snowballs, snowmen, snow angels till your hearts content
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

Snowing here again in the NE. Off to the hospital now for a few hours. Was going to walk but think I'll be lazy and take the car. Hoping to come home at lunchtime to see a few positive results from those dedicated souls that have ventured out this morning:)Awaiting a new sig0

Good morning all, the snow from yesterday was quite sparse on the ground this morning but it has started snowing again - it looks lovely looking out at it but I might stay put and just try to keep warm.Westvleteren wrote: »Went to get wood in and triggered a firewood avalanche, managed to jump out the way

Sounds lovely - have you got a jigsaw on the go at the moment or have a good book to read?
Have a good day all and try to keep warm as best you can0 -
Good morning all, cold here but no snow on the ground, not even a frost
Grey sky though.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
