  • Good evening everyone, had a day out today at the McArthur Glen outlet in Swindon. Got a half-price coat and a half price fleece, OH got a bit more than me, but we had a jolly good day of it :D
    Is it just me:

I feel posher when I wear a pearl necklace (fake will do)

I feel more pretty and mumsy when I wear a frilly apron round the house

I find listening to the Archers on Radio 4 therapeutic

I have started turning my nose up at sales that are less than 70% off !!

I take great delight in seeing my kids tucking into a meal I have cooked

You are not the only one :D

And I would also like to say welcome to dipdap, although you have to be mad to want to join us :rotfl::rotfl:

good evening all hope the elite are all well, and that everyone that was poorly are feeling better

spent the day tidying my kitchen emptied all the cupboards and boxes and kept finding things I had forgotten about, including a box with 6 easter egg lindts teddies and Halloween sweets from 2011 still in date though (just ) and 30 tins of campbells soup

think I need to stop buying food though have over 200 tins in the house and tell everyone we don't use tins.:rotfl:

:D I need to sort my kitchen cupboards out too. I am scared of what I might find lurking at the back:rotfl:

Wombling does not cover the petrol any more at westie - the noodling that the customers are doing over there drives me:mad:

OH wombled a few there today but all useless, all multibuys working and most people buying loads of the 50p stuff.

I did it a little while ago, found a nice stash of Ye Olde Oak ham that we had at Christmas, and some nice salmon too! Worth a go!

  • Sally06 if you've made £40 odd in wombles already this year you're doing well, why relocate to NI when you're doing that well?
