Are there part repayment/part IO mortgages around ???

As the title says really....on IO at the moment....112,000 mortgage....£155.000 value of house in Wiltshire..52...work for NHS....£30,000 pa. Hope to keep hold of house for 10yrs......may let it during that time and move in with partner....but who knows? Any thoughts on what I should/could do...worried...:eek:

    The majority of lenders will allow some of the mortgage to be on an interest only basis and some on a repayment basis. However you will be asked how you intend to repay the interest only element and to evidence a "credible" repayment route.

    Speak to a mortgage broker who will go through your options with you
