Yes I agree with you, recent reports suggest they are looking at smaller firms more closely
I must add though that my friend who is a Sesame AR had his compliance visit the week before last and she was shocked that he had finished the analysis. Whats even funnier is HE had to chase the compliance officer for HIS compliance feedback report as it was not done within the stipulated five days :rotfl: :rotfl: :TI am a Mortgage Adviser

About 3 or 4 years ago we had our compliance visit and it took 3 months to get the report from the account manager and then they had the front to chase our replies! All joking aside I don't think I would want the responsibilty of running a network these days.........it must be hellI am an Independent Financial Adviser and as such any discussion / conversation held within this forum does not construe advice in any way. I think what Kanshaz is meaning is that I keep my work life and own life seperate on here. Having a link to my website does not add any more value to the information that I provide on here.
Some brokers have their websites in their profiles which whilst allowed under forum rules, Kenshaz has had issues with some of them.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Ah! I see.
I think it's very good that there are IFAs and MAs willing to give their advice and time on here - this forum is an excellent resource.Errors of opinion may be tolerated where reason is left free to combat it. - Jefferson0 -
I wish that others who posted had your ethics .
I note that you do not include additional contact links and a website in your profile, because they would be of no assistance ,I presume.
How do you know that the people/person you refer to do not have the same ethics as Homer_J? Do you actually know any of us in a professional capacity?
Would you think any different of Homer_J if he decided to link his website?
(sorry homer not personal as you know, just interested to know)

Some brokers have their websites in their profiles which whilst allowed under forum rules, Kenshaz has had issues with some of them.
Why does Kenshaz have issues with that? Surely if its allowed under the RULES it must be OK. Besides he has done so much in promoting mine I was almost going to thank him but then I remembered what a two faced hypocrite he was.I like to give people as many choices as possible to do what I want them to. (Milton H Erickson I think)0 -
You know what issues he has had with some of them and these have been discussed in other threads. Whether his issues are justified or not, they are his opinion to which he is entitled to.
I was just explaining the comments to someone who did not understand what had previously been discussed. Lets try and not start that debate up again.

How would I feel if I was an individual looking for mortgage advice and I read your post would it fill me with confidence ,would I feel that this is a person that I can place my faith in.Well reader I will leave the decision to you.
I have been posting on this site for a number of years and I am fully aware of those advisers that post for pleasure and leisure and those who post for profit.I will leave the decision to you .
As per Martin Lewis's comments, if a mortgage broker helps a forum user he see's no reason why the forum user should not request help from that broker, so why dont you take it up with him ?
If you don;t like the idea of brokers being approached on a professional basis and then working really hard on the case and being paid for it, why don't you petition for the signatures that you called for to be removed? OR, even better, you could go and find another site altogether and stop disrupting this one?I am a Mortgage Adviser
