I went to the Reading store yesterday and they had these moustache mugs for 99p
http://www.peteribruegger.com/mugsshop.html
They also had VIZ mugs for 99p as well.[STRIKE]£2200[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£1950[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1850[/STRIKE] £1600 on my credit card
£1200 of £6000 Savings0 -
Was in today & they had lot's of stompeez slippers for £4.99. I also bought another bag of those broken choccie biscuits (purely for research :rotfl: ) and interestingly on the receipt in brackets after the description of item it says CAD so I am sure they are cadbury's, taste like it too, won't buy another next time or it will become a habit.Booo!!!0

I picked up some Stanley beaded hand cleansing gel in the Preston Home Bargains store a couple of weeks back and have to say it is absolutely rubbish. It simply doesn't work! £1.99 for a litre. DON'T BUY IT!
Did a quick search on Google and a couple of reviews on Amazon say the same thing and it scores 1 star out of 5 (presumably it would get no stars out of 5 if you could use less than one star).0 -
Spotted a bottle of Timotei Pure shampoo - 250ml for 99p. No silicones, parabens or colourants, so hopefully should be good for sensitive scalps
And I love the smell
Can't seem to grasp how to add a photo, but if anyone points me in the right direction..........0 -
Do check the catch is ok on these, I picked one up yesterday as they look quite cute but when I opened it the metal fastening came apart so put it back. may have just been unlucky but open & close it a few times before you put them in your shopping basket.
I bought some of these little jars to keep craft bits & bobs in (not sure what exactly but I couldn't resist them!) A couple of them needed the catch tightening up by squeezing the sides together - can't really describe very well but if anyone buys one which comes apart it can be easily fixed with a little muscle!0 -

HB has 100g Febreze Candles for 99p/£1. My store had Holly Berries and Frost and Apple Spice varieties.
Not as big as others but great smelling!0 -
Those 50g Whitworth dried fruit packs are tiny! I wouldn't pay any more than 19p for them. The triple pack tubs my local HB sells at 79p for 220g are good value too, although they aren't Whitworths.0

Forgot to say I also saw pots of baking beads for £1.99. The cheapest I've ever seen them is £5!0

In the Poole HB they're selling 4-roll packs of Nicky 'The Snowman & The Snowdog' printed loo rolls at 69p a pack (3 ply, average 160 sheets per roll)0
